Panel Abstract:
On one hand, courageous photojournalists have brought us gut-wrenching images of events around the world—frequently before any other medium. On the other, the literal authenticity of photography has made it the ideal medium for commenting on actualities. This panel presents four photo artists using approaches ranging from the literal to the imaginative, to reveal the realities they see. All will present slide shows of work with discussion.
