Millennial Impasse: What is the Radical Political Association for the 21st Century?
Submitted by Paul Gray on Sat, 01/08/2011 - 5:53pm
Panel Abstract:
This generation is defined by its widespread search for fresh, non-sectarian forms of political organization. In recent years, there have been a number of novel political developments in North America. This panel seeks to discuss these radical organizational forms as potential models for widespread adoption. Panellists will (1) describe their political association as a model of radical political organizing; (2) discuss their campaigns and important lessons they have learned; (3) illustrate the tensions that exist within their organization; and (4) articulate how we can build lines of communication and institutional memory between associations. The goal of the panel is to invigorate radical organizing in North America by inspiring those who are looking for novel forms of political association. Note: We are seeking confirmation from several other prospective panelists. This panel submission form will be updated accordingly.
