Submitted by Vivchib on Sat, 03/05/2011 - 8:48pm
Panel Abstract:
Latin American politics are at a crossroads today. In a number of countries, progressive governments have now taken power. Among these. the Workers Party in Brazil is perhaps the most well known. What will be the role of Brazil in geopolitics as we head into he 21st century? Will Loula and the Workers Party steer it in a progressive direction, or will it be business as usual? Will it remain in the U.S. orbit, or will it strike out on independent path?
