Submitted by Anonymous on Sat, 02/05/2011 - 8:19pm
Panel Abstract:
The panel will be a comprehensive political discussion of best grassroots organizing practices for building an independent political and social movement. The Private Health Insurance Must Go! Coalition is uniting with other single-payer, workers', and veterans' rights coalitions to win the human right to healthcare, improved Medicare for all U.S. residents, end hospital closings, and defend and expand workers' and veterans health benefits in a climate where both capitalist parties have expanded the for-profit healthcare system in the United States.
