Description: 
Across the world there is an ever growing assault on the rights of working people and the gains that they have made across decades of struggle. The neoliberal austerity drive has recently been accompanied by right wing electoral victories in Italy, Austria, India, and across Latin America. Social democratic parties have failed to provide a credible alternative. A panel of revolutionary socialists from around the world will discuss these events and a way forward despite these obstacles

Participants

Christine Marie is a long time contributor to Socialist Action newspaper and has for the last several years been organizing ties of solidarity with European socialists fighting on the front lines against austerity.
Kunal Chattopadhyay is a member of Radical Socialist, India and Professor of Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University.
Manos is a member of OKDE Spartakos/Antarsya, Manos has fought austerity in greece under PASOK, New Democracy, and Syriza.
A founder of IWS CT, and a member of Youth For Socialist Action.
