Adam Hockenberry is a student activist and organizer from Hofstra University. This past year, he was elected as the Vice President of Peace Action Matters at Hofstra University after two years serving on the Executive Board. In 2017, Peace Action Matters at Hofstra was presented with the Don Shaffer Student Peace Maker Award by Peace Action New York State for their outstanding work on campus, in Albany, and in Washington DC. In October of 2017, he attended CODEPINK’s Divest From The War Machine Summit to gain the resources to pressure Hofstra University to divest. Entering his senior year at Hofstra, Adam is finishing his dual degree in Political Science and Global Studies.
