Bradley Rydholm is one of the founding organizers of Horizontal Stateline Autonomous Region, which includes the stateline region of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin along the Rock River. He grew up in a working class family in Rockford, Illinois, where he still lives. For school, among other places, he attended Rock Valley Community College, American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, and Beloit College. With comrades in Horizontal Stateline, he is currently trying to build a solidarity economy, inspired by Cooperation Jackson, Mississippi; the Zapatista revolution in Chiapas; and the Rojava revolution in the Kurdish Autonomous Region in northern Syria.
