SARAH RAYMUNDO is an Assistant Professor at the Center for International Studies, University of the Philippines-Diliman. She is a columnist in the Philippines-based alternative news agency, and is at the editorial board of Interface: A Journal for and about Social Movements. She chairs the Philippine-Bolivarian Venezuelan Friendship Association and the International Committee of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers. She organizes for the International League of Peoples’ Struggle (ILPS)She has been awarded the Fulbright Scholar-In-Residence (2017-2018) to teach courses in Sociology at the La Guardia Community College and be part of the CUNY-Graduate Center’s Center for Place, Culture and Politics as a visiting scholar.
