Anyone serious about building resistance to the current assault on working people and the environment must finally decide: Can the Democratic Party be Reformed? No social movement currently mobilizing in the streets can avoid the challenge of gaining real political power, but activists are deeply divided about just what kind of party we need if we are to have real clout. The panelists assembled in this workshop, who range from supporters of Our Revolution to those who advocate a workers party, will discuss and debate their views on this question from the point of view of theory, history, and practical work.
