Toward Freedom Media
SATURDAY June 3rd Session 3: 3:30pm - 5:15pm
The panelists are women working in journalism, legislative activism, and the civil and criminal court system who are reclaiming the stolen tools of truth, media, and the rule of law to advance accountability in the public and private sectors, and exercising the rights guaranteed by the US Constitution. The combined insights of the panelists will focus on the power of impunity in the US and globally, and the need to develop strategies/campaigns to overcome it, and hold government accountable. We will show how women are fighting back by using the “master's tools [to] dismantle the master's house.”

A prominent advocate for whistleblowers, Borjesson is developing TV programming and media platforms to raise their profiles, examine their issues and inspire activism leading to accountability and reform.
