Timeslot:
SATURDAY June 3rd Session 2: 12:00pm - 1:50pm
Abstract:
Thousands of persons are Wrongfully incarcerated every year. Even when exonorated, many continue to suffer injustices in the form of re-gaining their lives, finding jobs, and obtaining proper benefits - not to mention just compensation to the wrongs done to them by being Wrongfully incarcerated for years or even decades. New York continues to deny automatic compensation to exonerees - which leaves it behind states such as Mississippi and Texas who do. We're organizing to demand real & substantial criminal justice reform!
